BSCS Biology: A Human Approach is an introductory high school biology curriculum that helps students look at and understand biology in a brand new way. This program is based on key ideas in biology today, organized around six unifying themes, and presented in a human context. The BSCS Biology: A Human Approach curriculum aggressively incorporates an inquiry-based approach to learning biology. Hands-on activities clearly illustrate the connections between biology, daily life, and the human body--something teenagers relate to and understand. Most importantly, this program centers around students learning science by doing science.
